- Feathers -

Feathers is the main project of my studies, the project that I used to present to get my diploma in the textile design field. I decided to focus all my researches on a rich and natural matter, the feather of the bird. All my experimentations explored the potential of the feather and give a contemporary utilization, solution to create some new surface ornament. A response of the traditional utilization of the feather ornament in Europe and across some significant place in the world, where they get a rich knowledge of the feathers manipulation.

- ikats -

The Ikats is a traditional fabric from Asia. During my internship at Studio Naenna in the North of Thailand, I had the chance to discover in depth this traditional technic who used natural dying and a special way to create the print. The print is dying on the thread before weaving. Work with a team of professional craft makers was a rich experience, and I had the chance to make print researches for new design, that’s means take inspirations from the technics and the traditional design and give a new interpretation of them.
